Nowhere: Eerie Photography of Isolated Environments

No really: where? Photography is a fascinating art form. In its basic form, it purports to represent reality … but even in black and white some unaltered photographs are more surreal than even the most colorfully abstract of artworks.  

Michel Rajkovic does not pretend the photos from his “Nowhere” series are a reflection of reality as it is. If anything, his images show our built environment as many of us have never seen it – a hyperbole of reality, ordinary places made abnormal by his unique perspective, strange site selections and long film exposures.

Most of the work that goes into his long-exposure photographs is in the selection of a subject and the setup of the shot – like the unsung pencil work before a painting.

His pieces often depict a combination of built and natural environments, organic materials, settings and landscapes juxtaposed with man-made structures, objects and paths.

Sometimes he sticks to strictly natural elements but even then he finds patterns in the noise of nature, straight lines of rocks on smooth and crisp watery surfaces.

iOS 4 on iPad with Multitasking Coming this November

teve Jobs mentioned in his April 8, 2010 event that iOS 4 will be available for iPad soon as planned by Apple to boast multitasking, iAds and many other exciting features for this incredible device. However, he didn't mention the exact date for the availability of iOS 4.0 for the iPad back then.

The expected date for the release is November 2010. Apple is showcasing the iPad as the most profitable platform for those advertisers who want to board with iAds. The report revealing this says:

“Apple is telling marketers that the device considered most promising for advertisers — the iPad — won’t be on the iAd platform until November.”

iPad has already proven it's success with content showcasing so definitely it will do magic for all those magazine apps and advertisers.

Accidental click on adsense ad, what to do now?

First thing to do is to calm down and then continue reading this post.

There can be many instances when we click on our own adsense ads by mistake or for fun and then we realize that we did a mistake.If it was just one or two clicks, then don't worry about it. Although googlerequires it's publishers to report any accidental clicks or invalid activity on their account but that don't count for every once in a while accidental click. Their system is already checking for any invalid clicks or activity on your adsense account and chances are that they will remove those clicks from your total at the end of the month / payment period. So don't worry if these clicks still show in your earnings on adsense.

Adsense Official  blog  says:

As most of you know, our program policies state that publishers are not permitted to click on their own ads for any reason. For this reason, we've received many emails from publishers letting us know that they've accidentally clicked on their own ads. If you're one of these publishers, we truly appreciate the efforts you've made to monitor your account and keep it in good standing. However, we do understand that an accidental click may occur from time to time, so there's no need to contact us each instance this occurs.

Because we closely monitor all account activity using engineering systems and thorough human analysis, chances are we've already detected your clicks on your ads and discounted them. While these clicks still show in your reports, we filter out their associated earnings so that advertisers aren't charged. However, please keep in mind that we don't ignore the clicks completely; if it appears to us that a publisher has been clicking on his own ads to inflate his earnings or an advertiser's costs, we may disable the account to protect our advertisers' interests.

So if you had accidental click on your own adsense ads, then don't panic and let it go. However if this was extensive activity from yourself or some one else, please report it to adsense, before they block your account.
