Ajith is set to hit U.K. race tracks

CHENNAI: Tamil film actor Ajith Kumar is set to don the role of a race driver, but for a change it won't be on the silver screen.
The 39-year-old is set to race at the best tracks in the world starting at Silverstone in England. Ajith will be driving wheel-to-wheel with some of the best upcoming racers of the world at the FIA Formula Two championship this year.

Ajith, whose entry into the feeder series was confirmed on Wednesday, will be the third Indian driver on the F2 grid.
He will join the talented 21-year-old Armaan Ebrahim, who is in his second season in F2, and Parthiva Sureshwaren, who is making a comeback to international racing after a brief period away from competition.
"I am very excited about getting into competitive racing again and am looking forward to the first race next month," said Ajith.
"I am confident of achieving some success in the championship." Ajith, a motorsport enthusiast, is not new to racing.
He made his international debut in 2003 at the Formula BMW Asia Championship, where he had limited success. His best result was in the Korea round where he qualified 4th and finished 6th.
In 2004, he competed in the British Formula 3 Scholarship Class, where he managed two podium finishes.
This year, the actor competed in the final round of the MRF racing series in Chennai in February but failed to finish the race due to mechanical problems.
Though the MRF cars had decent pace, it is obvious Ajith will have to do a lot of homework just to make sure he safely reaches the checquered flag, let alone podiums.
The actor himself is aware he won't get retakes and to get himself race-ready he has gone through test rounds in Malaysia. "I did some testing in Malaysia recently and am looking forward to more practice runs in Snetterton (circuit in UK) & Silverstone before the event kicks off on April 16 (at Silverstone)."
He will need all the preparations as F2 is as competitive as any other international series and is filled with dangers too. Last July, British driver Henry Surtees died on the track after being hit by a wheel which came off another car during the F2 round at Brands Hatch.

Sureshwaren, who will share the grid with Ajith, is confident the actor will adapt fast. "He (Ajith) has seen race action before," said Sureshwaren. "I spoke to Ajith about it and he is pretty confident of doing well. He has been showing a lot of interest to work on his driving and Armaan and I will of course be with him, helping him to adapt fast."

How AdSense Detects Fraudulous Clicks

1. The clicker's IP address matches the one on your AdSense account.
It's a no-brainer. Don't click on your own ads.
2. Suspiciously high CTR
According to a report I read, anything above 10% will be flagged, but 6% or 7% would probably be a safer limit.
3. Clickers' IP addresses come from the same geographical area
This is for those who think they can get away with clicking on their ads from their friends' computer, their grandma's computer, and their neighbor's computer. It just ain't gonna work.
4. Cookies
Most users don't use the same IP address every time they login. That's why Google stores the IP addresses related to a particular user in a cookie. If you thought using a proxy clicker bot was gonna make you an AdSense millionnaire, don't quit your day job.
5. Short-stay pattern
Usually, visitors on your site take a few seconds to check out your content, and then maybe they'll click on your links. Google doesn't like it the other way around, i.e. if they only stay a few seconds just to click on links.
6. One-site pattern
Google compares different users' activities on different sites. It will ask: why is this user clicking on ads on site X and not on any other site?
7. Direct-access pattern
Google doesn't like it when one category of users clicks on your ads more than another. In particular, they don't like it when users who access your site directly (i.e. no referrer) click on your ads but no one else does. So much for click exchange forums.
8. Big Brother
Google doesn't just own AdSense. They also own gmail, Google earth, and a host of other applications. They WILL track your IP across these applications so don't think that just because you don't use an IP to login to AdSense you can use it to click on your ads.
9. The invisible website
If your website doesn't rank highly on Google's search engine, they may get suspicious if you get an insane amount of traffic and clicks. The traffic won't get you banned, but all those clicks better be legit.
10. Begging the click
Don't write stuff like "please visit our sponsors" on your webpage. You have to be a moron to think that Google can own a search engine and not find out about this sort of thing.
11. Conversions
I'm not sure how they verify this one, but it's obvious: if your clicks don't convert, it don't look good.

How to Set up Your Adsense URL Channels

If you are familiar with Channels move on... else just direct here.. What Are Channels?
Once you log into Google Adsense, you want to click on the tab "Adsense Set-Up"at the top of the page, and then click on "Channels".

On the Channels page click on "URL Channels" and then click "+Add New URL Channels".
Then you can just start entering your Hubpage (or other website) urls in the box. If you want to just track all of your hubs as a single entity, the only thing you need to enter is hubpages.com and then click the button marked "Add channel". If you're going to add each Hub separately, then grab all of your hubpage urls and enter them in a batch or singly. Do not use your trackers. You want the raw url here.
And that's it. Now each time you log into your Adsense account, you can select"top channels" from the Reports menu and it will show you your top performing pages. You can also select "View All Adsense for Content channels" to get a performance overview of every page you are tracking.

AdSense Placement Tips to Help Improve Your CTR

If you are a Google AdSense publisher, you know that there are times when you aren't getting the results you expect. To improve your click through ratio(CTR), you may need to move the ads to different places on your website where you can expect more clicks. This post presents some placement tips for AdSense that will help you get more out of your site.
There a million little variables you can tweak with AdSense. One of the most important however, is where you place your ads on your site. Where you put your ads can have a dramatic effect on your earnings.
Regardless of what the so-called AdSense gurus and experts say, there is no definite area that works the best. Since every website is different, and each page is set up differently, it is impossible to say with 100% certainty that any particular position will work the best all of the time. With that said however, there are some guidelines you can follow to improve your Adsense earnings.
1. Place your ads above the fold of your website. "Above the fold" is the top part of the webpage you can see without scrolling down. This is most prominent part of the page, which is immediately visible when the page loads. Because the ads are visible to all visitors, there is a greater likelihood that they will see the ads and take action.
2. Put your ads along the left side of the page instead of the right side. The theory is that since we read from left to right, our brains are more engaged when we are looking at the left side of the page, and we are more likely to notice what is there. Plus, psychologists say that right-handed people tend to favor things that are on their left side. Since most of the general population is right handed, it makes sense to place ads on the left.
3. Insert your AdSense ads inside of your content. By wrapping your content around the ads, they will blend into the page and not stick out like a sore thumb screaming, "I'm an advertisement!" With your AdSense blended into the page, your visitors will be more likely to see them, and you can just let the ad copy do the selling. If the advertisers have done a good job of writing their ad copy, you should be able to get some good results
4. Finally, the rule with AdSense is there are no hard and fast rules. Many factors affect the performance of AdSense on a website, so it is important that you experiment with the ad placement. Merely parking your ads in one spot and then leaving them there is not a very good way to improve your results. Experiment by changing ad formats and sizes, using different text colors, and so forth. Test by leaving them in one position for a few thousand impressions and then move them to another to see how they both compare. Read Channels in Adsense Experiments for more details

Channel Tracking In Adsense

What are channels?

Channels enable you to view detailed reporting about the performance of specific pages and ad units. By assigning a channel to a combination of pages or ad units, you could track the performance of a leaderboard versus a banner, or compare your motorcycle pages to your automobile pages. You can even create a channel to track each of your separate domains, so you can see where your clicks are coming from. While channels can be used to track performance and revenue, they won't have any effect on your earnings or ad targeting. Its a simple way to experiment with ad placements and blending
There are two types of channels from which to choose: URL channels, and custom channels.

URL Channels
Use URL Channels to track your performance without modifying your ad code. By entering a full or partial URL, you can begin tracking the performance of particular pages in your site. You can enter a top-level domain name to track all of the pages on that domain, or you can enter a partial URL to track all of the pages below a certain directory. Entering a full URL will track the performance of that particular page.
For more information, please read How do I create URL channels?
URL channels are only available for AdSense for content pages. If you would like to track your AdSense for search performance, please use custom channels.

Custom Channels
Custom channels allow you to track the performance of specific ad units based on your specified criteria. By pasting channel-specific ad code into your pages, you can track a variety of metrics across a range of URLs. Use custom channels to track the performance of different ad formats, for example, or to compare different page topics to one another. To learn how to create and assign custom channels, please read How do I create custom channels?
You can also turn any custom channel into an ad placement on which advertisers can choose to place their ads.
With up to 200 AdSense channels, plus 200 AdSense for search channels available for each publisher, you can use channels to gain the insight you need to optimize your site's performance. It's easy to add, deactivate, or rename your channels, and customized reports are simple to generate.

Make More Money With Adsense - Secret

The AdSense is the platform for contextual ads from Google and is one of many ways to monetize website traffic. For every click in AdSense ads, Google shares with the owner of the website where the click was produced, a portion of the amount paid by the advertiser.
How to earn more money with AdSense? There are basically two ways to earn more money with Google ads:

1 - Get more traffic to your site - attracting more visitors to your website will generate more clicks on the ads, which means more money into your pocket.
2 - Optimize the articles for keywords that pay a higher value per click - the clicks do not all have the same value. There are keywords that pay more per click and others that pay less. What you have to do is find the keywords that pay the highest values per click. You can find them for example by using a proper software. So with the same number of clicks you will earn much more money.
Imagine a word that pays $ 0.05 per click. You would need 20 clicks to earn $ 1. On the other hand, with word that pays $ 0.50 per click, you only need 2 clicks to earn that same $ 1. The idea is therefore to find the words that pay more, write articles and optimize them for the high paying keywords.
Instead of investing time and money to get more traffic, You should invest in the writing of more relevant articles that lead to the display of more valuable AdSense ads. Thus, with much less traffic you will make much more money!
This is a wise technique to increase AdSense earnings. All the professional internet marketers take advantage of this simple and very profitable method.
